Stained Glass

Stained glass creations I made using time-honored techniques of hand-cutting and breaking the glass, followed by grinding, applying copper foil, and finally soldering. I also created the patterns myself, first sketching them on paper and then copying them onto contact paper with my "natural lightbox" (ie, a window).

Counted Cross Stitch

Counted cross stitch "pictures" made from patterns that I bought at the store.

Stained glass sailboat

My first stained glass creation. (11"x14")
Stained glass sailboat with sunlight streaming through

sailboat window (35k)

The same sailboat as the one above, but in a window with sunlight coming through it. (11"x14")
Stained glass lighthouse

lighthouse inside (47k)

My second stained glass creation. It was a gift for my mother. (12"x12")

lighthouse window (64k)

The same lighthouse as the one above, but in a window with sunlight coming through it. (12"x12")
Counted cross stitch tiger sitting looking over shoulder

tiger crossstitch (105k)

This is the first cross stitch I ever completed (mostly because it is small). (4"x6")
Counted cross stitch leopard head

leopard crossstitch (92k)

The pattern for this cross stitch called for white fabric. I used green instead, and interpolated all the white bits. (8"x10")
Counted cross stitch carousel horse

I finally managed to finish this one, which I had been working on off and on for some 13 odd years. (11"x12")
